In continuation of his letter no. 45, submit copy of one from Captain A.A. Sturt, 6th Regiment Native Infantry on Civil employ, soliciting that his Agents Messrs. Allan Deffell etc. may be permitted to draw his pay & allowances during his absence from Bengal under the accompanying Guarantee of refund.
