With reference to a lr. of the 24th ult. observe that the information afforeded in the memo by captn. oldfield is only respecting the site selected for a Hanked redonbt to defend the newly acquired district of michuce and that a specification of the nature of Redonbt to be consturcted woould make the information complete.
