With reference to para 2 of his letter no 353 of the 21st April 1852 submits the C in C recommendation that Senior Surgeon A Ross be appointed an offg. Supg surgeon in succession to senr. surgeon C S Curbing appd. supg. surgeon senr. surgeon grant having solicitted that he may not be appd. offg. Supg. surgeon but without prejudice to his enventual promotion .
