With reference to offg. Secys no 14th May report that Lieutt. H Maxwell was appointed Exe. engr. Wazeerabad division of Public Works by G O 14th March 1849 and that his slaary of a 1st class division was drawn from 1st May 1850 vide G O 251 of 19 April 1850 and Govt. letter no 520 of 20 December of the same year.
