Encosure to letter from chief serjt. bombay no. 4763 D/ 20th Nov. 1847.-With reference to coll. Stuart letter of the 2nd june last submits for consedration copies of 2 letter from the Q M Genel. of the army together with the report annexed to them relative to the bombay sapper& miners the detachment of the madras sapper & miners serving at aden & offers observation& suggestion.
