With reference to letter of the 16th and 19th instant transmits copy of one from the Supt of Marine, reporting tht having invited for tenders for conveyance of invalids to England, he received seven tenders, and solicited the Alfred and the Minerua for the invalids of Her Majesty service, and the Prince of Wales for those of the H Cos. service forwarding survey reports and stating that the Asstt Quarter Master Genl of the Army has objected to the Minerua on account of the sige of her side cabins but as the accommodation offered by that vesseal for the men is indisputably much better than that offered by the Marlborough .
