In reply to Mily. departemnt letter no. 3291 of 9th march observe that it was intimated in his communication ofno. 292 of the 3rd Feb. last that the sapper would be in readnes to embark by the first week in march states that the detahcment arrrived from merkara on 3rd and embarked for mounlmein .
