With refrence to mily department Extract no 788 of 23rd march last, states for communication to the madras Govt. that the Supe Govt. sanction the permanent employement on the Establishment of the arsenal at Fort saint George, of a filer and cutter of stamps and letters at 18 Rupees per month in place of a chuckler on that Establishment on the same rate of pay O.P returned.
