Annexing with reference to his letter of the2nd july and 19th oct. 1846 a communication from the acct.that some delay report on the state of his acct. as pay master with the chian explantion and intimating that the depart. of pay and audit with he decuted to adjust the arreans of salary due to the extra establishment.
