With reference to his despatch of the 8th ultimo, submititng the names of certain non-commissioned officers for the medal and grautity snctioned by G.g.a no. 196 of the 28th May 1848 stating that the roll receied with his desptch foes not shoew whether the whole of the mens service was performed in the honarabel company army though that is one of the company.
