With reference to Govt, letter of 10th January 1845, & 16th August last, solicit orders whether the Hussar Bits of 3 patterns of the proportion of each as noted within, are to be considered the standard for future issue to each Troops of Cavalry & Horse Artyllery, or whether the Bits of one pattern only now in use with the Hussar Saddlery are to be adopted; & offer Observations.
