In reply to their ltr. no. 1543 of the 30th ultimo, intimatign that the necesary instructiosn hafe been issued for placing at the disposal of the ofifcers ther rein named advances to the extent recomended by them for teh preparation of caps fo rthe drumer and fifer of their respective corps for 1850/51.
