In reply to govt. letetr of 25th Ultimo state that on receipt of Rs.1,619-4-6. fromthe Rajah of Burdwan amount value of ordenance fort william it was immediately paid into the genl. treasury with instructions to with draw the recovery advised in teh first instance and place the amt. to the credit of the ordenance dept. copy of the treasury receipt accompany.
