Referring to the wishes of Govt. the Madras Native Troops should be relieved & allowed to return to their own Presidency & requests him in modification of the original plan of the Employment of the Camel Corps to move his Corps so as to occupy a new line with his right on Heerapore & his left on Malthone and hopes with the Corps & a Squadron of N. Cavalry to be planed at his disposal by General Whitlock he with be able to prevent the rebels from the line and allow of the Debts of the 50th Madras N.I. at Malthona Shahgurh and Mundawarah to be relieved.
