Forwarded for information copy of a letter No. 548 dt. 6th Instant from the Secretary to Govt. of India with the Governor General stating that the Battery of six guns ordered to be made over to the Maharajah Scindiah are in lieu of six of his own guns now in the fort of Gwalior which will be returned for Government.
