Proposed amendments to the rules in chapter XLVIII and XLIX of the C. S. R. so as to prescribe that for new entrant all pensions except those protected by section 272 of the G. I. act 1935 should be payable in British India no matter whose the pensioner resides thus ensuring deduction of Indian income tax at source.
