I am directed by the Hon'ble the President in Council to request that you will instruct the Garrison Visiting Medical Officer to require from the Medical Subordinate in charge of the Road Detachment to instruct the men of the Hospital in this special class, for the restraint of the public house disturbances, especially of Garrison families in town, and of soldiers in quarters, as it is quite sufficient for the allowance for the length of time that would be necessary to perform such duties.
