Rejection of the representation made by the Millowner's Association, Bombay, requesting (1) that the Customs authorities may be directed to exercise their discretion in fixing the market rates of commodities such as dyes, chemicals, etc., required for textile manufactures, and (2) that these commodities when imported by owners of weaving mills for consumption in their own factories, may be totally exempted from payment of import duty.
