Opening of the port of Karachi in addition to Bombay for the embarkation of pilgrims to the Hedjaz. Proposal to throw open the ports of Madras, Calcutta and Chittagong for the embarkation of pilgrims. Grant of a conveyance allowance of Rs50 a month to the Protector of Pilgrims, Karachi and of Rs30 a month to the nurse appointed during the out-going pilgrim season at Karachi. Delegation to Commissioner in Sind of powers conferred by the Pilgrim Ships Act, XIV of 1895.
