Decision (i) that candidates from Upper India should not ordinarily be allowed to appear for examinations at Calcutta in those languages and standards for which tour examinations are conducted at Lahore and Lucknow and (ii) that the High Proficiency examinations in Persian should be held at Lucknow. Amendment in rules for the examination in oriental languages.
