Approval of the Secretary of State to the temporary appointment of Mr. E. Tydeman, Headmaster, Central Model School, Lahore, as Vice-Principal of the Central Training College, Lahore, and also to his officiating as principal of that institution from the 1st April 1913 to the 9th May 1913. Grant of authority to the Government of India to fill temporary vacancies in the Indian Educational Service up to a period of two years without reporting to the Secretary of State and delegation of similar authority to local Governments up to a period of six months.
