Viceregal Investiture held in Delhi on 19th March 1924. Decision that the Description of Military officers Should be Verified by the Army Department in Connection with Investitures. Suggestion that (1) the Previous Rehearsal of the Ceremonial Should Include a Rehearsal of the Exact Procedure to be Followed by a Decore, and (2) That the Under Secretary, F. & P. Dept., Should be Provided with a Plan of the Seating Arrangements of the Decores marked to Show which of the Decores Should have Sooks or Shields Affixed to their Coats.
