Visit to India of Turkish Emissaries with the object of rousing Pan-Islamic anti-British feeling. Proposal to deal with certain of them under the Foreigners Act, 1864, (III of 1864), immediately on their arrival in India. Reported attempts to collect funds for the Ottoman Red Crescent Society. Decision that any information likely to be of use to His Britannic Majesty's Ambassador at Constantinople is to be brought to notice by the Director, Criminal Intelligence, and to be conveyed to the former by the Foreign and Political Department.
