Decision that local salutes of not less than ten guns like permanent or personal salutes of the same number should be recognised as entitling a ruler to the privilege of being addressed by the title of 'His Highness' as also to other ceremonial honours depending on his salute. Case of the Sar Desai of Savantvadi whose salute of nine guns (permanent) was raised by two guns (local) on 1st January 1921.
