Draft of a letter to Mr. Charles Purling, informing him of the appointment of Mr. John Bristowas Resident at the Nabob Vezier's Court and of Mr. Nathaniel Middletonas Agent for receiving collections and managing the tuncaws granted by the Nabob Vezier to the Company; directing him to make over charge of all public papers dealing with political transactions between the Company and the Nabob Vezierto the former, and all dealing with financial transactions to the latter,and desiring him to return to the Presidency after the execution of those orders.
