Letter from Capt. C. Ranken, enclosing a plan and measurements of the public road constructed in 1781-82,requesting the Board to suppress the robbers that in fest the borders of Tamar, suggesting that the Collectors at Puchete and Ramgur,the Revenue Chief of Patna and the Resident at Benares be ordered to have the roads within their respective districts properly repaired,and intimating that he relies solely upon the assurance of the Board for the grant of a pension to him on his completing the road within the amount estimated.
