Calnois has refused to give any account whatsoever because the Registrar's office was broken in to two days after the capture of Chandernagore, intimating that they have issued a notificationof M. Calnois' refusal to allwho had their concerns in the Registrar's office, and requesting that if they are ordered to takean inventory of all M. Calnois' papers, Frence of character may be directed to be present on that occasion.
