Caldwell, intimating that his address of the 24th instant will be transmitted to the Board, that his request will not be granted by the General, and desiring him not to repeat the intemperate expressions of his last letter. Copy of a letter from Capt. Caldwellto Capt. Heard, Adjutant-General,replying to the above letter, and requesting that this letter may alsobe transmitted to the Board.
