Kendriya Vidyalayas. Monitoring of performance:-1) Reservation of seats in Kendriya Vidyalayas in civil sector. 2) Opening of one additional section in civil sector central schools for children of railway employees not covered under category I of Admission Policy.-Matter regarding change in admission policy to Kvs fixing a quota (say 60%) for wards of employees of sponsoring authority and authorising principals of KVs to admit wards of employees of sponsoring authority after admission of wards of transferrable employees, taken up at the level of sucessive Ministers for Human Resource Development. Other matters regarding representation of Railways in the Board of Governors of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and empowering chairman of managing committee of Vidyalaya to increase the students strength in sections from 30 to 35, to approch the concerned Asst. Commissioners of KVS regarding effective functioning of Principal and inspect the Vidyalaya and suggest improvement, No favourable response from HRD received
