Suggestion that deductions should be permissible to recover from a person re-employed after the termination of his former employment any amount paid to his from a provident fund or as a gratuity on such termination. Such deductions may be made lawful only where the employee concerned has authorised the deductions in writing in order to secure the benefit of Past service
