The Board decided that the time limit of one/six months in sub rule 248(2) (a) RI may be extended by the Rly Board in individual cases attendant with special circumstance. The Boards regarding the extension of the rule refereed to above in respect of passes for families stipulated in rule 252(1) RI by the following officers. 1. A.General Manager or an officer enjoying the powers of a General Manager. 2. An officer enjoying the power of the heads of Deptt. but who is not under the control of either General Manager or an officer enjoying the powers of General Manager
