Railway Services (Conduct) Rules 1956- General Instructions providing classification in respect of transactions- acquisition of disposal- of movable, immovable and valuable property and prescribing limits for obtaining sanction of competent authority. (1) Cases referred to the Board for sanction, as distinct from cases merely reported to the Board, should contain enough information to appreciate the bonafide of the transaction. (2) Sale of a conveyance purchased with advance from Govt., before repayment of advance, requires sanction of the competent authority. The sanction is in addition to the sanction required under the conduct rules for the transaction i.e., Sale of movable property
