AIRF: Pilot Guards NDLS Loco Shed, C. Railway mileage allowance payment for short distance travel. Decision: Based on target time calculated from train departure to train arrival at the rate of 8 hours equal to 100 miles (160 kms) for periods between August 1962 and August 1968, the mileage allowance already paid to running staff working short distances on the Ferozepore, Jodhpur, and Bikaner Division of the N. Railway was approved and allowed to stand as a special case. 2) The Board declined to alter the divisions employees mileage reimbursement on the above mentioned grounds
