I. A referral about the hiring of officers to staff personal posts from the General Manager of the Northeast Railway. The decision to increase the recruitment of probationers to IRSE, TPME, TT, and CD was discussed by Mater during the boards meeting with the G.M. on August 6 and 7, 1956. The decision was made since there is no distinct establishment department and there is no need to make the choice to directly recruit establishment officers. (i) Verification of four officers from the personal department for positions in the S.S. (ii) Long-term personnel department employees from other departments ought to have the choice to leave other departments and choose the personnel department for any future promotions. (iii) Hiring personnel officers directly through UPSC. (iv) APOs that merit promotion from class II to class I service
