Amendment to articles 946, 949, 487- B(Note to proviso under clause (V) 487 and 353A (regarding compulsory retirement as a penalty) (Rules 2839, 2841, 2545-b, 2545 and 2311A RII) of the civil service regulations. Articles 357C and 357D-CSR- decision not to adopt till pension scheme is introduced. Clarification that- (1) Provisions of rule 2311-A-RII also apply to those governed by the liberlised pension rules. (2) Family pension in the case of a person compulsorily retired will be half the amount of the pension actually sanctioned. No reduction will however, be made in the amount of residuary gratuity
