Ministry of Home Affairs: Half a day of casual leave granted for punctuality at government offices. Railways have been instructed to (1) enforce government office timeliness and (2) provide half a day's C.L. for the afternoon or forenoon as needed. It was also made clear that (a) whether the ten-minute grace period is still acceptable. (b) if Muslim workers will still be allowed to take an hour's leave of absence on Fridays so they can attend Jumma prayers, with the caveat that any lost time must be made up outside of business hours on the same or other days of the week
