B.A. Railway made an inquiry. On January 29, 1947, there was a strike at the Domohani Railway Station. The question was raised by the Board over whether the interim recognition of the B.A. Railroad Workers Union should be revoked and disciplinary action taken against the union executives, Messrs. Parimal Mitra and P.K. Das Gupta. Board's response stating that Messrs. Parimal Mitra and P.K. Das Gupta should not face disciplinary action and that the B.A. Railroad Workers Union should continue to be recognised
