With reference to No. 624A, dated 14t instant, sanctions the application from the Municipal Commissioners of the city of Shahjehanpore for the grant of Rupees 12, 180-8 from the proceeds, viz., Rupees 24, 481, of the sale of confiscated houses in that place, to be expended in metalling two of the principal lines of traffic through the city. The remaining half of the sum realized by the sale of the confiscated houses will be credited to revenue
