1.Officiating emoluments are counted for pensionary benefits. Orders contained in Ministry of Finance Notification No. F8/43-EVC/61 dated 1.9.62 adopted on Railway. As a result, new rule 2544-B(CSR486B)RII introduced and amendments to 2544A(CSR-486A)-RII carried out. 2.As a result of the aforementioned, all Railway servants who were in service (including LPR) on 1.9.62 were given a new opportunity to join the pension scheme by 30.6.63
