W. Rly.- Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 and Rules framed there under - rate of wages to be paid to contract labourers under Rule 25(2)(i)(e) of the Rules- Matter discussed in the meeting of the Secretaries Committee and it was decided that labourers engaged by the contractors will be paid same wages as are payable to the casual labourers engaged directly by the Principal employer or at the Minimum wages rates, if applicable
