A.I.R.F. Functioning of the Permanent Negotiating Machinery and delay in disposal of correspondence (Item 1 of Agenda for discussion at PNM meeting held 7-12-64). Decided that:-(i) It is necessary to restrict the number of items in the agenda to 30 for a meeting and after taking up the first 30 items, the remaining could be held over for subsequent P.N.M. meetings. (ii) Arbitration in PNM Scheme would be considered after decision is reached on the Joint Consultation Machinery Scheme. (iii) Outstanding items of PNM could be discussed by a small delegation of representatives with Joint Director or Director, Establishment at the time of P.N.M. to know progress of old items
