Railway Institutes will be subject to income tax. Calcutta's South Eastern Railway is cited. Decision that:- 1. Income tax assessed by the Income Tax Authorities, Purlia on the Cinema business of the Adra Institute, should be paid to them. 2. Then income of the Railway Institutes consisting of membership free and tournament fees will be exempt from tax on the principle of mutuality. Grant received from Government are also exempt as they are not in the nature of income. But the income if any, derived from the staging of cinema shows will not be exempt for income tax purpose
