For pension purposes, Shri N.R.A. Subramanian, erstwhile Stenographer in the Ministry of Railways, is counting his service in the Inspectorate of General Stores, Kanpur. (1) Service in the Inspectorate of General Stores and Technical Development Establishment Stores, Kanpur, does not satisfy the provisions of Article 356 or 357-C, C.S. Rs., and is thus not to be recognised as war or military service for pension purposes. (2) The aforementioned service would be eligible for pension under the standard norms of the Ministry of Finance O.M.No. F.3(55)-EV(A)/60 dated 19.1.1962, with the Defence Department sharing the liability therefor
