Tell Tax: Abolished on:-1. Sabaramati, (Western 2. Tapti Rail) w.e.f. 1.1.52. The maintenance charges of these Bridges shared half and half between the Western Rly and the Government of Bombay. 3. Kistna Bridge (Southern Rly w.e.f. 1.10.53 and Madras Government accepted the responsibility of re-im-bussing the maintenance charges etc. The State Government of Uttar Pradesh are not in favour of abolishing the tall tax at Kurd and Chilwa Tal Brigades on the North Eastern Rly. Decided that the Status quo should be continued
