Establishing the Estate Managers' Offices in Bombay and Calcutta- Approve the creation of the Estate Managers' Posts in Calcutta and Bombay for the necessary support staff for these offices. Messrs. D.B.Desai and G.C.Mitra were appointed to the positions of estate manager in Bombay and Calcutta, respectively, and they signed contracts on their behalf. Estate Manager positions in Bombay and Calcutta are declared to be Not-non-permanent for the purposes of the Civil Services (Revision of Pay) Rules 1947
