Views of the Bihar Legislature on the Bihar and West Bengal (Transfer of Territories) Bill, 1956:- (1) That the Government of India be urged to abandon the proposal to introduce the bill, as it seeks to transfer territories from Bihar to West Bengal in disregard of the wishes of the people of the areas concerned. (2) That the President be requested to withhold his recommendation to the introduction of the Bill in Parliament
