Raising by the Calcutta Corporation of a debenture loan of Rs. 84,70,000 at 6% interest with 30 years currency to be issued at par. Suggestion of a `general rule` that a sinking fund for any for any loan must be invested in securities having an earlier maturity when the loan which the sinking fund is operating to amoritse. Application of the local Authorities Loans Act, 1914 (IX of 1914).
