Question of passing a validating act to set right the illegality caused by the appointment of Rai Saheb Moti Sagar, a Chief Court Pleader, to act as a judge of the Lahore High Court. Proposed amendment of section 101-(3) of hte Govt. of India Act so as to make chief court pleaders of ten years` standing eligible for appointment as High Court Judges and to make it clear that hte quialifications prescribed in sec.101 apply also to additional judges.
