The Hon`ble Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya`s proposal to repeal the Workman`s Breach of Contract Act, 1859, and the penal provisions occurring in any other Act of the Governor-General in Council under which artificers, workmen and labourers who have entered into an agreement to work are liable to imprisonment of fine for failure or refusal to fulfil the terms of their contracts.
