Proposal (a) to abolish the rule in Articles 147 (III) and 335 Civil Service Regulations, under which the grant of long leave to officers whose pay is less than Rs. 100 a month is subjects to the condition that no extra cost is thereby imposed on the state and (b) to introduce a new set of leave rules for non-gazette officers on less than Rs. 200 a month.
